Full-Day Gallipoli & ANZAC Tour from Istanbul

Depart early in the morning from Istanbul. Between 09:30 and 10:00, we stop for breakfast before continuing towards the Çanakkale Strait. Upon arrival in Eceabat, enjoy lunch with panoramic views of the Çanakkale Strait.

After lunch, your guide will take you to several battlefields, memorials, and cemeteries, starting at the narrowest point of the Çanakkale Strait, where you will receive a brief historical overview. You will be impressed by Kilitbahir Castle, built in 1463 by Sultan Mehmed II to protect the Çanakkale Strait.

Continue to the landing beaches of the Gallipoli Campaign and learn how troops of the British Empire, supported by French forces, landed on these shores to join the ANZAC forces (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) at Arıburnu.

Highlights of the tour include the Arıburnu Cemetery and the ANZAC Commemorative Area. See the Turkish artillery positions and Anzac Cove, the main base of Australian and New Zealand troops. Visit the burial site of the legendary John Simpson Kirkpatrick and pay your respects at important memorials such as the Lone Pine Australian Memorial and the Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial.
